Based on all of the government guidance, the Parish Council have decided that we will sadly not be able to hold a Christmas Light switch on this year.
This was not an easy decision, and we feel feel upset that we cannot welcome the festive season in the village with you all.

Sileby Parish Council (SPC) is shocked and disappointed at the news that Charnwood Borough Council (CBC) has stopped the Tuesday market until they can decide on how, or if, the market can operate.

Leicestershire County Council Highways has agreed to a Temporary Traffic Regulation Order at the above location.
A temporary road closure is required on Slash Lane from 6th August 2020 for 1 day.
The road will be closed between Sileby Road (Barrow Upon Soar) and Mountsorrel Lane (Sileby).
