WARNING - HORNETS NEST

Please be aware that there is a very aggressive hornets nest on the footpath that runs at the side of river past Sileby Mill - we believe they are nesting in an old tree stump at the side of the path. A dog walker, her mother and three dogs were all attacked and stung multiple times, with the dogs needing medical attention. Leicestershire County Council have been informed

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER:-

BARROW ROAD, SILEBY

Leicestershire County Council Highways has agreed to a Temporary Traffic Regulation Order at the above location.

Barrow Road was due to be closed on 19th October 2018 for 1 day.

This date has now been cancelled.

The road will now be closed on 18th November 2018 for 1 day.

The Clerk emailed Charnwood Borough Council regarding the partial demolition of a wall that is part of the listed curtilage of 7 King Street, which is a Grade 2 listed building.

Horse Fair - Private land Off Betty Hensers Lane, Mountsorrel 5th - 7th October 2018

There will be a horse fair, which will take place from Friday 5th October to Sunday 7th October, on a privately owned field off the A6 at the end of Betty Hensers Lane junction with Granite Way, Mountsorrel. This is the weekend after the last Kenilworth Horse fair so there may be a few families attending.
