Temporary closure of Seagrave Road, Sileby / Seagrave.
Leicestershire County Council Highways has agreed to a Temporary Traffic Regulation Order at the above location.
A temporary road closure is required on Seagrave Road from 29th July 2019 for up to 7 weeks.
The road will be closed between the junction of Sunnydale Road (Sileby) and Big Lane (Seagrave).
During the works there will be a temporary 30mph speed restriction enforced on Seagrave Road (Sileby) and Big Lane (Seagrave).
A 'Temporary Prohibition of Waiting and Loading at any time' will be in force on Seagrave Road (Sileby / Seagrave).
As the works progress, the road will be open as and when it is safe to do so.
The Temporary Traffic Regulation Order will be implemented for public safety to allow Leicestershire County Council undertake carriageway strengthening, haunching and resurfacing works.
The proposed alternative diversion route will be via :- Cossington Road (Sileby), Main Street (Cossington), Syston Road (Cossington), A607 (Ratcliffe on the Wreake), A46, A46 Six Hills, Paudy Lane (Six Hills), Paudy Lane, Big Lane (Seagrave) and vice versa.
Leicestershire County Council apologises for any inconvenience caused during these works.
